Debrix Emulators for standard Forks

Post by kebab19 » Tue Oct 01, 2013 11:36 am

Hello,
Haven't posted here for 5 years now since I became a traitor & defected to Fazers

Was just posting here as in my travels I've come across a very cheap alternative to Racetech's great-but-expensive Gold Valve cartridge Emulators - from Debrix http://www.debrix.com/41mm-Fork-Damper- ... 361-vt.htm
I still have a set of TRX damper rods out in the garage and I reckon the Debrix emus could be made to fit the rods fairly easily with an appropriate bushing or spacer

The 'catch' with Debrix is the postage / shipping charges from the United States - to buy an individual set costs much more than the emulators themselves. The way round this is to organise 'Group Buys' to save on postage, as has been done several times by SV650 owners.

I have fitted Debrix Emus to my own Fazer 600's forks:

and was just passing this information on to anyone who might be interested in improving their TRX850 forks inexpensively. I might be organising another Group buy this Autumn if there's demand so if anyone might be interested in a set let me know.
1996 vintage now sold. 1999 FZS600 Fazer, 2006 YBR125 & 1981 RD350LC left to keep me entertained.

Anyone tried this yet?
Can anyone tell me the inside diameter of the fork leg inner tube?
